Report them in the app wherever it shows them: on their page, on a proposal, on the Sunday tab, on your meetup's page, in the call, in your conversation or on your connection in Conversations, and after a meetup that did not happen. A person on our team looks at every report, usually within 24 hours. Nudity, sexual content, hate, threats, harassment and pressure are removed, and the account behind them is closed.

Anyone, with or without an account, can report illegal content to hello@wholehour.app. Please say what it is and where it is (the person’s first name and where in the app you saw it), why you think it is illegal, your name and e-mail address, and that you believe what you write to be accurate and complete. We confirm receipt and tell you what we decided.

Is whole hour a dating app?
No. You meet one person for one hour and talk about two questions the app asks. Nothing to prove, nothing to achieve. The conversation is the point, not finding someone.

Where does whole hour run?
In Munich. Before you apply, the app looks whether you are there. If you are somewhere else, you can put your city on a waiting list, or write it in if it is not listed, and see how many are waiting for each.

What if the other person does not come?
After 20 minutes the app asks what happened. It does not count against you if you were there.

Why is nobody in Nearby?
Nearby shows the twenty nearest of those who had whole hour open in the last seven days, however far away. Positions update every few minutes while the app is open, so someone may turn up later.

Can I invite friends?
Yes, with your invite link: in the Nearby tab, behind “More”, and, while whole hour is new in Munich and nobody is around, in the note that says so. They still apply like anyone else, and you are never paired with a friend you invited.

Why a three-second video?
So the person you meet recognises you, and nobody meets a neighbour or a colleague by surprise. No photos, no filters.

I lost my phone. What now?
Sign in to whole hour on another iPhone with your Apple ID. If a meetup is coming and you worry about who has the phone, cancel the meetup first: while the lost phone is still signed in, whole hour tries to reach it, and where it gets through, that phone takes the countdown off its lock screen and drops the reminder an hour before. Then choose Settings → Sign out on other phones (on the pause screen too). whole hour sends every other phone nothing more, and each is signed out of your account the next time it reaches whole hour with a connection; the phone in your hand stays signed in. Until then, whoever can unlock that phone can still read what whole hour keeps on it, such as your notes and a meetup of that day, and even locked it can still show what it already showed or set itself: a countdown to a meetup on its lock screen, the reminder an hour before one, notifications that already arrived. If it holds more than you want anyone to read, erase it in Find My. If you are signed out again and again, someone is using that phone: stop using your Apple ID with whole hour, remove the phone from your Apple ID (in Find My, or at account.apple.com), and only then sign in again. Without another iPhone, stop using your Apple ID with whole hour (on an iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → whole hour, or at account.apple.com): that signs whole hour out everywhere. Whoever has the phone may have seen your support code, so ask for a new one in Settings once you are back in.
Mein Handy ist weg. Was jetzt?
Melde dich auf einem anderen iPhone mit deiner Apple-ID bei whole hour an. Steht ein Treffen an und machst du dir Sorgen, wer das Handy hat, sag zuerst das Treffen ab: Solange das verlorene Handy noch angemeldet ist, versucht whole hour es zu erreichen, und wo das klappt, verschwindet dort der Countdown vom Sperrbildschirm und die Erinnerung eine Stunde vorher fällt weg. Wähle danach Einstellungen → Auf anderen Handys abmelden (das geht auch auf der Pausenseite). whole hour schickt jedem anderen Handy nichts mehr, und jedes wird von deinem Konto abgemeldet, sobald whole hour dort das nächste Mal mit Netz läuft; das Handy in deiner Hand bleibt angemeldet. Bis dahin kann, wer das Handy entsperren kann, noch lesen, was whole hour darauf aufbewahrt, etwa deine Notizen und ein Treffen dieses Tages, und auch gesperrt kann es noch zeigen, was es schon angezeigt oder selbst eingeplant hat: einen Countdown zu einem Treffen auf dem Sperrbildschirm, die Erinnerung eine Stunde vorher, Mitteilungen, die schon angekommen sind. Ist mehr darauf, als jemand lesen soll, lösche das Handy über „Wo ist?“. Wirst du immer wieder abgemeldet, benutzt jemand dieses Handy: Beende die Nutzung deiner Apple-ID mit whole hour, entferne das Handy aus deiner Apple-ID (in „Wo ist?“ oder auf account.apple.com) und melde dich erst dann wieder an. Hast du kein anderes iPhone, beende die Nutzung deiner Apple-ID mit whole hour (auf einem iPhone unter Einstellungen → dein Name → Anmelden & Sicherheit → Mit Apple anmelden → whole hour, oder auf account.apple.com): Dann ist whole hour überall abgemeldet. Wer dein Handy hat, kann deinen Support-Code gesehen haben; fordere deshalb in den Einstellungen einen neuen an, sobald du wieder drin bist.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, Settings → Delete account; before you have finished setting up, “Account and help” → Delete account, and on the pause screen too. Apple asks you to confirm, and whole hour stops using your Apple ID. Your profile, video, messages and application go at once. A record of your meetups without your name (with the proposals, each week’s outcome, blocks, quick messages, the steps of the hour and the missed or cancelled meetups around them) stays until 90 days after your last meetup that was not called off (longer only while a report about you is open or an authority has asked about one of your meetups, and never less than an hour after the deletion); if someone reported you, it includes what they sent us, such as your messages to them, and that can name or show you. The reason and outcome of a report you made stay as the other person’s record, and our backups keep the rest for up to 30 days. The privacy policy lists it all.
Wie lösche ich mein Konto?

Apple bittet dich um eine Bestätigung, und whole hour gibt deine Apple-ID frei. Profil, Video, Nachrichten und Bewerbung sind sofort weg. Ein Eintrag ohne deinen Namen über deine Treffen (mit den Vorschlägen, dem Ergebnis jeder Woche, Blockierungen, kurzen Nachrichten, den Schritten der Stunde und verpassten oder abgesagten Treffen darum herum) bleibt, bis dein letztes Treffen, das nicht abgesagt wurde, 90 Tage zurückliegt (länger nur, solange eine Meldung über dich offen ist oder eine Behörde nach einem deiner Treffen gefragt hat, und in keinem Fall weniger als eine Stunde nach dem Löschen); hat dich jemand gemeldet, gehört dazu, was diese Person uns geschickt hat, etwa deine Nachrichten an sie, und das kann dich nennen oder zeigen. Grund und Ergebnis einer Meldung, die du gemacht hast, bleiben für die andere Person bestehen, und in unseren Sicherungen liegt der Rest noch höchstens 30 Tage.
